TP-Link Tapo

it used to be fast working app, but now the feeds wont refresh, and i also cant view the offline recordings whilst the feed isnt working. i have to retry many times. this is the same on 3 different brand phones and on android tablet and ipad. very bad, maybe time to get other brand like reolink. also tapo app keeps throwing me out, having to log in every time and cameras dont show up, it shows as removed whilst on other phone the cameras do show up. very inconsistant and unreliable, do not buy

Easy to use and to set up devices and it has some basic automation features. However the app comes with issues. I've had it not sent camera alerts through, despite them coming over my smart speakers. Worst is the notifications. They've bundled all of them together, so the same sound is used for motion alert, firmware ready to install, battery drain. Wich is bad as you want a distinctive sound for motion alert. I don't get the impression they will fix this

The live camera feed and recordings take longer to load. I still have a lot of space on my SD card and have 500mbps fiber connection. The videos keep stuttering and pauses like I am connected to a dial up connection. I even erased the SD card contents but same results. This was not the case last year and everything was smooth before. Hope they fix this in the next update since I never had this problem before.
