The Mobile Bank application from SpareBank 1 gives you easy access to the most used banking and insurance services when you are on the go. In addition, the app gives you an easy way to contact us.

The Mobile Bank app provides full control over your accounts, cards, payments, savings, loans and insurance policies - and of course, you can order a variety of services and products. We will launch new services throughout the year. The app also includes insurance claims, your travel insurance card and you can contact our real estate broker.

The Mobile Bank must be activated with BankID. After activation you can use a self made PIN or fingerprint to sign in.

1. The app doesn't use the account nickname I set up on the Web site. All accounts have the same name + account number! It's inconvenient. (My accounts are Sparebank SR bank account). workaround is to rename your accounts in the app. 2. The real issue is that the app does not know/show the address book. I make 90% of my payments to people that are saved in my address book. I don't remember my recipient account numbers. All things considered, the app is still good enough to check your balances.

No warning when a payment is rejected (A warning by email and Android notification should be basic). When you try to set up a warning to do so (which is of course not automatically set up), the bank only offers Sms/text warnings, which will cost you for each text and isn't clearly stated (you need to click on the tiny line about detailed cost below to actually find out there is a price per text). Ludicrously poor anti-consumer service.

Mandatory cookies leads to a popup every. Single. Time. You log in. It is, "hilariously", possible to disallow functional cookies. Which leads the app to log me out, and also refuse to re-enable said cookies even when choosing "accept all", which clearly doesn't accept all.
