I can no longer create PDF of my books to allow me to read them through Microsoft Edge's "read aloud" setting. The kindle paperwhite does not have a speaker, so there is no TTS setting on it. I also cannot use TTS on the Kindle app for PC because there is no play, pause, rewind, forward, slower, faster, etc. options for it. The only TTS option is start. Every time you try to move forward it stops the TTS and you have to start from the beginning of the page rather than from where you left off.

Yet another update which is less user friendly than before. So the last update got rid of the store button but although the deals were hidden away you could still find them. They have now completely disappeared. The only reason I use kindle is because incan get book deals that are easily accessible. Without this, I'll be going back to books amazon

I have a kindle Voyager, bought several years ago and love it. The backlight for bedtime reading is excellent, the charge lasts at least a month with daily nighttime reading of about 30+. With fast charging it only takes around 2 hours to fully charge. As I have a cover the kindle wakes up as soon as opened and shuts off when the cover is closed.
