Noveena Chakravorty is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Journalism & Mass Communiction under the School of Media and Communication at Adamas University in Kolkata. She has an experience of more than 17 years in the media academics and industry. She completed her Bachelor’s degree B.Com (Hons) and Master’s in Journalism and Mass Communication with a specialization in Radio, Television, and Films from Banaras Hindu University. She has completed a Film Appreciation Course from the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India, Pune and a Film Making course from the Indian Film Institute, Delhi. She is pursuing her PhD. in Film Studies from Adamas University. She has participated in many national and international conferences with quite a number of book chapters with international publishers (Routledge, Taylor & Francis), Scopus, UGC care and several peer-reviewed journals.
