I loved this first book in a new steamy, funny, contemporary romance series. Once again, Alexander brings us a quirky family with multiple siblings who lead very different lives from each other. "Okay, first things first Henry’s family dynamic and titles confused me quite a bit in the beginning. Also there was a lot of “erm” and “er” being said it interrupted The flow of the dialogue. other than that I loved this story! Gram Gram stole my heart with her tests and how far she was willing to go for her family. Henry was a lover who needed to give his love to someone deserving. Libby had all the love to give, just waiting for the right person.

As always Evie has written a funny, feisty and steamy winner. Love Ad Lib is romantic, heartwarming and sizzling hot, and will give you all the feels. Libby is sunshine and positivity personified but she has an Achilles heel - Lucas. Sleazy wannabee artist rinsing her for money, leaving her penniless. Henry Foxbrooke is a successful broker in the City, but he's far from happy. Embarrassed by his eccentric family and their matchmaking attempts, he needs to find a girlfriend asap. A chance meeting through work leads to an opportunity for Henry and Libby to fulfil their needs. Henry offers Libby £5k to act as his girlfriend over his birthday weekend. And so, Libby heads to Foxbrooke Manor with Henry as his girlfriend, Elizabeth Bennet. What could go wrong? Well, pretty much anything and everything. But whilst their romance may have started out as fake, it just may become true love. Entertaining, a quick and easy read, this has definitely introduced us to a cast of characters that I'm keen to read more about.
