About this ebook

William Stratford is more than my professor.

He’s my one-night stand. My secret. And my enemy.

I have a plan for fighting him, along with the secret society that threatens the college. Despite his knowledge and his power, despite the sensual thrall he holds over me, when the bell rings, he’s the one who’s going to learn a lesson.

At least that’s the plan.

But Professor Stratford is older and wiser.

He makes the rules, and I’m forced to follow them.

THE STUDENT is book two in the forbidden romance trilogy Tanglewood University. It’s a tale of redemption and comeuppance for a professor walking the line of right and wrong–and the student who will push him over the brink.

I am a big lover of forbidden love affairs. This one also had their age difference & the secret society aspect that had me on the edge of my seat. This one jumps right back into their story. I kind of felt that this one jumped too fast into the relationship after hurting her so badly. Daisy was gone at the end of the first book, but all the sudden she’s back. They just kind of glossed over the hurt between them, but the chemistry between William & Anne is still off the charts.

The second piece of Anne and Will's story did not disappoint. I found it super easy to get wrapped right back up into all this seductive yumminess. Even more intensity, steam, drama, action, emotion, tension and tantalizing twists to enjoy before that stunning cliffy and the wait to see how it all ends in book three begins. I cannot wait!

I knew this was book two of three, so I was prepared for a cliffhanger, but that was a doozy! I’m not surprised though, these two do everything to the hard way, and try to protect the other, which really doesn’t help them most times. There are some things that seem straightforward, but they are not. Much like the oft discussed Shakespeare by the characters, the underlying motives and machinations, have our characters twisting and turning, trying to keep up with all the things swirling around
