About this ebook

A new funny billionaire Pelican Bay love story from USA TODAY Bestselling author Megan Matthews.

Fingers crossed my grandmother’s old florist shop doesn’t crumble around me. Literally.

Lily Dianthus has a skyscraper next door threatening to topple her florist shop, rogue construction crews using her facilities, missing customers, and she’s almost out of money. That’s not even the worst of it, though.

Jerome Kensington. The man building the monstrosity next to her which threatens to ruin her livelihood? The hot billionaire CEO she’s supposed to hate?

Lily doesn’t hate him at all.

She’s balancing everything with no room for a mistake and life looks good. Until her loan falls through, Jerome’s construction threatens to destroy her florist shop, and a local legend comes to wreak havoc on her life.

If Lily doesn’t get it together, she might lose her career and dream man.

Simply Business is a story for readers looking for their next small-town adventure with a hot billionaire CEO you can fall in love with instantly.

This is the third book in the Pelican Bay Billionaires series. You can read it as a standalone but it is connected to the other books in the series and since it is set in Pelican Bay you’ll recognize some other characters if you’ve read the Pelican Bay Security series. Yes there is Katy and her crazy schemes, you can't have a Pelican Bay book without a little insanity that is Katy Kadish and some of the other colorful characters that make up Pelican Bay. I loved Jerome and Lily's story. They shouldn't work and honestly they should be enemies since Jerome’s monstrosity of a building is ruining her business. Steamy, sweet and full of laughs, another Pelican Bay win. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I love how these can be read as stand alone books but each book seeps into each other so if you do read them together there are little nods to the other characters. Jerome certainly meets his match with Lily when they butt heads with his building and her shop next to it, add in the ladies of Pelican Bay led by well crazy Katy as I like to call her and you get plenty of laughs, some mystery and another romance ready to bloom. ;).

I enjoyed reading Jerome and Lily's love story. I love small town romance love stories and this did not disappoint. Lily inherits a florist shop next door to a skyscraper in the process of being built and threatening to topple her shop. Adding to her stress is her lack of funds. Jerome is the hot billionaire CEO responsible for the monstrosity next door keeping the sunlight out of her shop and threatening her livelihood. This is an entertaining read that once I started it I couldn't put it down. The storyline is great and the characters are amazing. Great chemistry, some intrigue and mystery. Overall, it is well written and very entertaining. I happily recommend it to any book lover. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
