Viper Spaulding
Charming slow burn romance Hunter has had it bad for Callie since he first met her more than sixteen years before, but since she was his sister's best friend, he tried valiantly to keep her in the friend zone. Now he needs someone to help him recuperate and she needs a place to stay, so his heart dares to hope once again. Callie has only her dysfunctional parents and her own personal experience to go on, both of which have convinced her that there's no point in ever hoping to find a lasting love. Instead, she finds joy in designing dresses that seem to do the trick for finding the wearer's one true soulmate. All she wants to do is grow her business so it can support her full time and enjoy her time with her best friend's family, since her own family seems to have forgotten her entirely. Overall this is a delightful, absorbing romance, though it does drag a bit in the middle and there are several plot points that easily predictable. Callie and Hunter are both very likable characters and the entire town of Windsong is charming and supportive. There's a bit of rivalry sprinkled here and there and it was a real treat to witness Kennedy and Maverick's wedding. I loved the way the HEA was expanded to include one of my favorite characters from the first book, and the adorable Jenna was again a splendid addition to the story. No extraneous drama here, just a lot of emotional depth and heartwarming family values. I'm looking forward to reading more in this series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Once I found Robin Bielman years ago, I couldn't stop following her. I keep checking back for more books by her and I'm always excited to find one! She writes charming storylines with complex characters. Her books are favorites of mine. I get lost in them. I was so invested in the outcome of Hunter and Callie's story that I couldn’t put it down. Hunter stole my heart. He's the perfect book boyfriend! Callie is a strong, but hurting, female heroine who must overcome her life fears. Such a beautiful ending. I absolutely can't wait for the next book. Thank you NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the ARC of this book. This is my voluntary and honest review.

I was pulled into this small town, friends to lover’s romance, as it made me want to live in Windsong. Hunter and Callie have known each other for years. A freak incident for Hunter requires someone to watch over him and Callie suddenly needs a place to stay so she becomes the best choice. At the same time, they are both in the running to be the new town Ambassador. As they spend time together, what is merely an acquaintance becomes a wonderful friendship.
