Bio 1 of 2: 'Robert Quinn': Robert E. Quinn holds the Margaret Elliot Tracy Collegiate Professorship at the University of Michigan and serves on the faculty of Management and Organization at the Ross Business School. He is one of the co-founders and the current Director of the Center for Positive Organizational Scholarship. Quinn’s research and teaching interests focus on leadership, organizational change and effectiveness. He has published 18 books on these subjects. He is a fellow of the Academy of Management and the World Business Academy. He was a co-recipient of the Academy of Management’s 2010 Martin Trail Blazer Award for opening new directions in the field of organization theory. He is also the recipient of the 2011 Marion F. Gislason Award, presented by the Executive Development Roundtable for life-long contributions to the field and practices of leadership. He has thirty years of experience in assisting large organizations in the transformational process. He has also served as a mission president for the Australia Adelaide Mission. Bio 2 of 2: 'Shauri Quinn Dewey': Shauri Quinn Dewey is the in-house editor and marketing manager for Robert E. Quinn. She has worked in media for the last 15 years. She wrote and produced Public Service Announcements, as well as the children’s Internet show: Ready, Set, Internet! for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. She also worked as a consultant for Root Learning, writing and producing digital e-learning modules and video projects, and eventually created and led their video department. After marrying her husband, James, she began to follow him on various posts around the world where he works as a U.S. diplomat. In 2011, on their first posting to Baghdad, she ran the US Embassy’s TV studio and had the opportunity to not only work with 4-star Generals, traveling dignitaries and national media personalities, but also to dodge incoming rockets on a regular basis. Shauri received an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University, and a graduate certificate from Georgetown University. She currently lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband, James and their daughter, Cora. She served in the Anaheim, CA, Spanish-speaking Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
