Repeat Business

At one time, I’d been her savior. For a few days. Then I became her enemy.

Katy Kadish and I have been at each other’s throats for years, but it wasn’t always that way. Somewhere between family drama, income distribution, and time things shifted. At least they did for her. I never considered her anything less than the woman I’d do anything to win.

Now too much time has passed. I can’t continue fighting a losing battle. This is my last hurrah. It’s time to pull out all the stops and if this doesn’t make Katy see the truth, then nothing will.

Of course, this is Katy. She’ll fight me tooth and nail and also investigate the latest dead body in Pelican Bay while doing it. Not only am I fighting to make her mine, but now I have to do everything to keep her alive as well.
