This second K9 book is filled with so much action you just can’t put it down. Jocelyn and Baker start off as almost enemy’s but slowly grow on each other. The ending is shocking. This author never fails to grab ahold and not let go. Life was starting to feel like a box of cookies. Some she couldn’t wait to bite into. Peanut butter. A really soft chocolate chip. Maybe a homemade Oreo. Others she’d always leave in the bottom of the tin.

Another great story in Nichole's new series as Jocelyn and Baker must learn to trust each other as danger stalks them. As they work to unravel the mystery surrounding his attempted murder, the mysteries of their own pasts are revealed and they're heartbreaking revelations. Fast-paced with suspense around every corner and harrowing escapes from death this story kept me engaged. Love blooms as danger implodes around them. And of course Maverick stars, such a complicated awesome dog I loved.

K-9 Detection is a fabulous romantic suspense by Nichole Severn. This book is one that you can't put down once you start reading it, so be warned. Baker is the chief of police in Alpine Valley and not a fan of the Socorro organization. Jocelyn works for Socorro and ends up working with Baker against the cartel attacking the town. Their story is packed with drama, humor, sizzle, action and suspense. I loved this book and look forward to my next book by Nichole Severn. K-9 Detection is book
