This novel takes place after Freed (#3 Flamestone Trilogy.)Jaden's nothing but a traitor and he knows it. He's sold out his settlement to the Flamestone Society in the hope of getting his mother back from them. Instead, he's now cursed to dwell underground and avoid the toxic rays of the sun, which will kill him. There's no hope of redemption.
