Insurgent (Divergent, Book 2)

This sequal to Diverget did not disappoint. I loved every minute of reading both books Diverget was bought for me as a b/day gift I was hooked from day 1. When it ended I was gutted then I discovered Insurgent on here & was over the m moon. It's worth every penny I paid & have recommended to my friends & family. D defo 5 stars for both books. Keep up the writing Roth your amazing :)

I read this after reading Hugh Howey's Wool, which is excellent, so perhaps I was setting myself up to find fault with Insurgent. It's written for a younger audience, which I found I kept reminding myself, but there were a number of times when irritating plot holes emerged, or characters suddenly became inconsistent for the benefit of moving the story along. I found the inconsistencies with the many characters a distraction from what is actually a really interesting idea. Overall, an okay read.

I am such a big fan of divergent this left me on the edge of a cliff and when I read the last sentence I felt like I had just fell off that cliff. It left me wanting it to continue and never end ppl say the third book isn't as good. But I'm still going to read it and leave u another review . Veronica Roth is my idol
