It’s a compellingly suspenseful tale. The chemistry between Fiona & Rye literally burns up the pages, but Fiona’s backbone has been forged in steel thanks to Max, so immovable force meet brick wall. Throw in a madman out for revenge & you’ve got a story that will captivate & enthrall you. Another perfectly drawn romantic suspense with such well-drawn characters & narrative that you will definitely want to read it. And the ending is the perfect segue into Max & Thea’s story in “Pieces of Eight.”

Wow! Powerful read. Loved the characters even though a bit rough around the edges. This was a deviation from the books i normally read. The storyline was very good and kept me interested until the very end. Worth everyone of the 5 stars. Have bought the entire series and can't wait to read them.
