i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the 14th book in the Man Card series. In this book, Noah was asked by his former culinary teacher to help in the cookie competition after the partner was hurt. Noah was going to be paired with Morgan, his nemesis from school. Morgan and Noah hated each other and competed for everything while they were in school. Both Noah and Morgan consider dropping from the competition, but they agree to work together. While they were working, their feelings started to change and soon they were fighting an attraction to one another. I really love this series. All of the books are quick and steamy. I like Noah and Morgan together. I think they always had feelings for one another and tried to fight them. Reading this series also made me want a cookie lol Great read.

When one of the participants in a cookie competition had to have emergency surgery, Noah’s former instructor, Art, asked if he would fill in for him. Noah discovered he would be paired with Morgan, a woman from culinary school that had always been his major competition, even though he usually won. Both of them seemed to intensely dislike each other, enough that each briefly considered dropping out of the competition, despite having not seen each other for five years! But they finally agree to work together. With the relaxing of their old feud, their feelings begin to change as a surprise mutual attraction pulls them closer. Will they take a chance on a relationship? Can they find their HEA? I love these delightful “Man Card” stories! They are well-written with good story lines that pull the reader in. Short and sweet, they put a smile on the reader’s face as whatever drama existed is smoothed away! And, if you follow this series, Aiden makes an appearance and he’s still as wonderful as always! There's a thin line between rivalry and intense attraction. Enjoyed reading this fun, steamy story. Too hot in the kitchen for these two to resist, if you can't beat them then it turns our joining them can be much more yummy. That's the no nonsense approach they are finally bold enough to take.
