Deadly Amish Reunion is the 9th book in the Amish Country Justice series by Dana R. Lynn. As far as I can tell, these books are completely unrelated in one to one another, and as such can be read as standalones. This was the first book I'd personally read in the series, and in fact I didn't even realize it WAS part of the series (though I must admit it had me curious to read more from the author anyway!) In Deadly Amish Reunion, we meet Luke Beiler. He is an Amish man, who after an accident found himself missing years of his memories. Years during which he lived among the Englisch. When he sees an image of a man escaped from prison, something comes back to him-- a name and a face of a woman. He doesn't know who she is, but he knows she is important...and in trouble- Jennie. Jennie is shocked to discover her husband is not dead... but she doesn't have too long to adjust to the idea finding herself on the run of her life trying to escape danger. As a Love Inspired Suspense novel, I love knowing that it is going to be a clean and inspirational read. I loved the aspects of faith in this story too. It's a shorter, quick read (ideal this time of year), without feeling rushed or lacking. Overall, a really good read and one that I would certainly recommend to fans of Amish Suspense. I look forward to seeing more from this author in the future. **I received a complimentary copy of this book for consideration. All thoughts are my own.
