Though part of a series this book can be read as a standalone title though there are references to incidents in previous books. This is a clean-reading romantic suspense that is an easy read. No graphic violence or rough language to offend. There are a few twists to keep it interesting. Overall I'd recommend this as a perfect weekend getaway-read. Mystery, suspense, romance, and a satisfying ending what more could you want?
