This is Seabury - where everyone knows everyone, the average tourist hasn't got a clue it even exists, and that's just how the locals like it!
Kate Hardyâs world seems to be making some kind of sense at last. The Sardineâs finally safe from her idiotic ex, things seem to be going well with Mike (though sheâs pretty sure sheâs going to mess that up at any moment), and sheâs looking forward to celebrating Christmas with the important people in her life. People sheâĶ loves?
As much as sheâs looking forward to the big day, Kate canât help the niggling worries that keep giving her a nudge in the ribsâĶ
Mikeâs buying her beloved lighthouse and is due to get the keys any day now. Kate just wishes she could muster the courage to ask him what his plans are for the old place â instead of changing the subject every time he brings it up.
And then thereâs Bernard â whoâs come all the way from Canada. Heâs loitering very close to Seabury and is promising to wreak yuletide havoc. The Met office are pretty sure heâs due to make landfall on Christmas day â and according to them, this stormâs going to be a doozy.
As everyone in town starts to batten down the hatches, Kate does her best to save Christmas . . . with a little bit of help from her friends!
A cosy, Christmas read full of community, romance and friendship! For fans of Holly Martin, Polly Babbington and Heidi Swain.
Christmas in Seabury is the third novella in the Seabury series - and the final part of Kate's story.
