wish it was longer. Mind, it's not missing a single thing, it's just that the writing is so easy to read that I could easily have read another hour without getting bored. Despite my cooperation with the willing suspension of disbelief rule for fiction, I am surprised that her airlines did not require her immediate presence to report the incident and that he was free to leave when the plane touched down. Makes me wonder who was around to take over the clearing of the airfield and restoration of normal traffic after clearing. It also begs the question of how he got to the landing strip so quickly if he had originally needed to turn her over to IND at for the actual landing. Sorry, my brain likes everything neatly wrapped up.

Although this is a quick read, we still get a fantastic story. Xander is a single father to his daughter, Zoey. While at a restaurant, Zoey needs to go to restroom and the men’s room is filthy. They meet Kate when they see if she’ll take Zoey to the restroom. Xander and Kate are attracted to each other. After a while, Xander wonders what’s taking them so long in the restroom, but he never imagined what he found when he goes to check. Grab your copy and see what happens, lol. Also, learn if Kate gets the job she is in town to interview for or if she’ll return home. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Xander and daughter Zoey arrive to get something to eat, but then Zoey needs a lady to take her to the bathroom and Xander picks the one that he had been staring at in line. Kate agrees and the nightmare starts. They are not alone and Xander needs to help them.... more than once. The characters are heartwarming and sincere, adapting to events in the best way. The storyline has plenty of drama, danger, rescues, an adorable little girl, entertaining situations and a wild interview. Loved how things fall into place. The ending fits in terrifically and the blurb about his friend fits so well. Can not wait to read it, too. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

About the author

Ann Omasta is a USA Today bestselling author.

Ann’s Top Ten list of likes, dislikes, and oddities:

1.     I despise whipped cream. There, I admitted it in writing. Let the ridiculing begin.

2.     Even though I have lived as far south as Key Largo, Florida, and as far north as Maine, I landed in the middle.

3.     If I don't make a conscious effort not to, I will drink nothing but tea morning, noon, and night. Hot tea, sweet tea, green tea––I love it all.

4.     There doesn't seem to be much in life that is better than coming home to a couple of big dogs who are overjoyed to see me. My other family members usually show significantly less enthusiasm about my return.

5.     Singing in my bestest, loudest voice does not make my family put on their happy faces. This includes the big, loving dogs referenced above.

6.     Yes, I am aware that bestest is not a word.

7.     Dorothy was right. There's no place like home.

8.     All of the numerous bottles in my shower must be lined up with their labels facing out. It makes me feel a little like Julia Roberts' mean husband from the movie Sleeping with the Enemy, but I can't seem to control this particular quirk.

9.     I love, love, love finding a great bargain!

10.  Did I mention that I hate whipped cream? It makes my stomach churn to look at it, touch it, smell it, or even think about it. Great––now I'm thinking about it. Ick!
