The One I Stood Beside

Troy Duran and Rose Dioro were perfect as Jude and Sadie. Loved Jude and Sadie. They both have been in love with each since childhood,but have never admitted it to each other.They do not want to ruin their friendship in case the other doesn't feel the same. When Sadie's dad dies leaving their farm in debt Jude stands by her throughout. They get into a fake marriage to save the farm. Did get frustated with them for keeping their feelings bottled. They eventually admit to their love for each other and it is worth it. They are just so sweet together and loved it when they got to their happily ever after. The bond between the Naughton men is so heartwarming and love the rest of the Naughton clan.Emmett is my favourite and i cannot wait for his story. Jude and Sadie's romance was very emotional and it made me cry,but there was also lots of laughter and banter. And we're back for book 2 in Piper Rayne's Plain Daisy Ranch series, and I'll just go ahead and say that Jude won me over pretty quickly. I love a grumpy teddy bear, so I was firmly in Jude's corner. Jude and Sadie have great chemistry in this friends-to-lovers marriage of convenience romance, which works really well for them.

Best friends forever, the feelings they each harbor for each other are squelched down in the name of friendship. But when Sadie needs help saving her family ranch, it's Jude to the rescue. Why not get married and he can put up the collateral for her to keep it and start her new business? Sounds plausible, but selling it to the public, now that is another story. And what about their true feelings? Piper Rayne knows how to pull me in, and keep me rooting for the couple in their small town romances
