As an abused child, sixteen-year-old Rhia falls for the wrong man and finds herself trapped in a sex trafficking ring. There is no way out as she suffers at the hands of her leaders and the men she is forced to please. With a life full of tragedy and misery she is forced to be a high classed hooker and her job is to be the object of men and earn money for the organisation.
If she makes a mistake she is brutally punished and lives in fear instilled by her boss. Trapped in a house or hotel with others who have met the same fate she is constantly watched so there is no way to run. If she falls pregnant, she will be killed so when she does what happens to her?
She falls in love with one of her clients. He is different and she is not his plaything. Will he be the one to save her and take her home? Will she finally escape and heal from her torment? Will she receive true love from a man who won’t use or abuse her? With twists, turns and surprises follow five years of her tortuous life.
I am the 48 year old mother of three dogs, two cats, five backyard chooks and two adult children ( no, they don’t live in the backyard!). They tend to keep me busy, even the adult children.
I grew up in a small town of the coast of NSW, Australia and moved to Queensland in 2001. I have completed my Bachelor of BioMedical Science and am currently studying counselling. Writing is a passionate hobby of mine. It allows me to escape the ‘real world’ and go on an adventure!
It is my love of reading that inspired me to start writing. Rhia is my first book and I hope to publish quite a few more. My imagination is flowing with ideas and I can’t get them down on paper quick enough. As I write, the world drifts past around me, and the pet fur piles up, but it’s what I love to do.
Having mental health issues, I suffer with ADHD and Bipolar, along with anxiety I feel that writing helps relax me and my brain. I love to put ‘pen to paper’ and love the idea of entertaining people with my words. I don’t profess to be a professional but I’m sure that many will enjoy the stories I write.
Thank you all for your support, and happy reading!
