Billy and Bethany are best friends and have been since a young age. When they are eleven they are separated by tragic circumstances. Bethany is whisked away after being sold by her parents, and she is trapped, unable to escape. She is forced into a life she doesn’t want with little to no rights.
Her new owner is cruel and mean and takes away her freedom, forcing her to spend most of her spare time alone, behind a locked door. She has little reprieve and Billy’s letters are one of the only things she can look forward to.
She’s not meant to be in contact with him, but her confidant sneaks the mail in and out. Over the years of separation they stay close through their prose. Billy is one of her life’s dreams, but will she ever see him again?
I am the 48 year old mother of three dogs, two cats, five backyard chooks and two adult children ( no, they don’t live in the backyard!). They tend to keep me busy, even the adult children.
I grew up in a small town of the coast of NSW, Australia and moved to Queensland in 2001. I have completed my Bachelor of BioMedical Science and am currently studying counselling. Writing is a passionate hobby of mine. It allows me to escape the ‘real world’ and go on an adventure!
It is my love of reading that inspired me to start writing. Rhia is my first book and I hope to publish quite a few more. My imagination is flowing with ideas and I can’t get them down on paper quick enough. As I write, the world drifts past around me, and the pet fur piles up, but it’s what I love to do.
Having mental health issues, I suffer with ADHD and Bipolar, along with anxiety I feel that writing helps relax me and my brain. I love to put ‘pen to paper’ and love the idea of entertaining people with my words. I don’t profess to be a professional but I’m sure that many will enjoy the stories I write.
Thank you all for your support, and happy reading!
