Aidan in a Kilt

Aidan in a Kilt is the second book in the Ballachulish Trilogy, and the retold version of Wicked in a Kilt, the second book in the Hot Scots Series. This version is told from Aidan's POV, and it's amazing! I have listened to the original story, and I loved to listen to this new version with the new perspective. This version is even more enjoyable if possible. Will Watt did a fantastic job with the narration. I love his voice! He definitely is perfect as Aidan. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Rory in a Kilt, the third book in the Trilogy, and the new version of Scandalous is a Kilt, retold from Rory's POV.

Fabulous Story & Narration🎧 Sweet & Spicy! ~ ~ Anna Durand pens another swoon worthy and entertaining novel, the second in “The Ballachulish Trilogy”. Each book in this trilogy stands on its own and features a different MacTaggart brother, these books are told solely in their point of view. Their companion books are the first three books of the “Mactaggart Brothers” trilogy in the Hot Scots series. This book is Aiden and Calli story, “Wicked in a Kilt” is the companion book. You do not need to have read or listened to that to enjoy this book, though I will be, because this one was great. I adored both lead characters. Aiden is full of personality, determined to find an American wife like his brother Lachlan did. He follows Lachlan’s footsteps, even takes some of his advice, which lands him a wee bit of trouble. He is taken with Calli the moment he laid eyes on her, but she wants nothing to do with him. He is persistent though and does not give up and with the help of her friend, he has another opportunity to win her over. Calli is battling her own personal demons, Lachlan has a few of his own neither are ready to share them with each other but Lachlan does convince Calli to spend some time with him. I loved how everything played out in this book, the story is beautifully plotted and there is never a dull moment. There is plenty of drama, just a touch of angst, charming humor and witty dialogue, heartfelt emotions and some hot romance. Anna Durand thank you for another fabulously enjoyable and entertaining story. 🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Will Watt is a talented narrator and a versatile voice artist, he had a complete understanding of the characters he portrayed, giving each a voice that fit that character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable in the roles he played and just as I pictured the character to sound, accent and all. He set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into his performance. Will Watt is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen.
