Fantastic Story & Narration🎧 Spellbinding & Heartfelt! ~ Anna Durand pens another fabulous “Hot Scots” novel, you can not help but love that MacTaggart clan, all those men in kilts and all that hotness is absolutely delightful. Changing things up in this tenth book of the series it does not feature one of the MacTaggart men but rather one of the MacTaggart women and it is certainly a treat of a story. Kirsty and her family are attending Jack and Autumn’s wedding held on the greens behind her cousin Rory’s Castle. She was not expecting Luke Turner, her erse of an ex, to show up, but that he does. Luke & Kirsty dated in college, she thought they were in love, but when Luke found out about her Wiccan beliefs he left her. He has the mind of a scientist and can not accept any of her hocus-pocus or metaphysical beliefs. Leaving her broken hearted he is the last person she ever wanted to see again. But he is back and he wants to study her and her Wiccan practices for scientific research, she agrees despite knowing he is hiding something and is not being entirely truthful. The chemistry between them is smoking hot, I liked these two together, though I was a bit skeptical about him and was wonderful what was really going on with him, his heart wins over his brain in the end and he does the right thing so that is all that mattered. Loved the meddling MacTaggarts, especially her bother and cousins who kept an eye on Luke. This is a wonderful second chance romance, the story is beautifully plotted with plenty of drama, a touch of angst, so great humor and witty dialogue, some twists and turns, heartfelt emotions and hot romance. Anna Durand, thank you for another fabulously entertaining story, the laughs and the emotional rollercoaster ride, I loved every minute of it. 🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Aaron Shedlock and Marian Hussey are the perfect cast to bring these characters and their story to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, gave each a voice that suited their character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable in every role they played and just as I pictured the characters to sound. Marian Hussey’s accent is melodic and wonderful for the ears, her Kirsty was spot on, capturing her all her strengths and Aaron Shedlock was fantastic as Luke. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance. These entertaining storytellers are mega talented and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fantastic listen.
