Remote for Fire TV & FireStick is designed specifically to control Fire TV using your Android mobile device. Supports Fire TV Box, Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Cube, and Fire TV.
Just connect an Android mobile device and Fire TV or Fire Stick to the same Wi-Fi network and you will be able to control it using a mobile device after enabling ADB on Fire TV.

How to connect to Fire TV or Fire Stick:
1. You must enable ADB debugging on your Fire device before connecting.
2. Your Fire TV must be connected to your home's wifi network.
3. Your Android phone's WiFi must be turned on and connected to the same network as the Fire TV.
4. Tap to connect device. The app will automatically search for Fire devices in your home.
How to screen mirror/cast to Fire TV:
1. Launch this remote app and connect it to Fire TV under the same network.
2. Click "Mirror" to enter the mirroring interface and choose to download our receiver app, Screen Mirroring Receiver for Fire TV, on the TV device per the prompt message.
3. After the receiver app is successfully downloaded on Fire TV, restart mirroring or choose to cast on the phone.
4. Enjoy smooth screen mirroring/casting now!
Troubleshoot:
• This app can only connect if you are on the same WiFi network as your TV device.
• For cases of not being able to connect to Fire TV, reinstalling this app and rebooting the TV can fix most of the bugs.

Terrible app... Ads every 3 clicks. Everything locked behind paywall. Don't download. Won't even find your firestick even after connecting to it 50000000000 times. Forgets your connected device, have to close/open/close/open the app 15 times to get it to finally find the same device you connected to a billion times before. Oh yeah did I mention it plays non skippable 30+ second adds every time you press a button?? Completely useless and over the top with monetization...

So close. Besides the developers (who will likely give troubleshooting steps that don't work), if anyone who's used this can tell me how to make this remote stay connected when you walk away from the TV and come back? When you Walk away from your TV for a significant amount of time and come back it refuses to connect. You have to uninstall the app and reinstall it to get it to connect again. Simply restarting your internet connection or reopening the app doesn't do it.

This might be the least functional app I've ever used. The interface isn't designed terribly, but it is executed horribly. Good luck getting this app to stay connected at all, or even having the remote buttons actually do anything on your TV (even when it's "connected") The troubleshooting steps are pretty useless. Don't spend money on this. Just go buy another Fire Remote and don't waste your time or sanity on this app.
