It's a free app that doesn't have adds. After the update it was disconnecting and unable to find the firestick. So I tried a different app and it wants to play adds every 5 seconds or pay the dreaded subscription fee. So that was promptly deleted. I got this app working again by uninstalling it and reinstalling again. And has been working. Better than the other app even though it didn't disconnect.

They just updated this thing on like 12/20ish/2024 and the layout is cool but the remote still is responding to a button I touched last. So if I hit back and close the remote, the back button like gets hit again for some reason? They took away the mini remote that I know of, actually haven't explored the settings but The most irritating thing is they give you the option to customize your app order and the app you move just jumps back to its original spot each time! Hate it!

The Interface is better than what it was. I miss having the mini remote in the notification bar so I didn't have to constantly reopen the app to use it. The Favorite Apps part of the remote is janky, however. It feels slow, there's no consistent way to scroll through the apps without accidentally picking some up, and when you do find certain apps you mean to choose and drag it to the top, it will reset even if you save it.
