Sooi Beng Tan

Tan Sooi Beng is Lecturer in the School of Humanities, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang, Malaysia. She received her M.A. (Music) from Wesleyan University, Middletown, Connecticut in 1980 and B.A. (Music) from Cornell University, New York, in 1978. She has published articles on Chinese music and Chinese theatre in Malaysia.
