Susan Schonberg

“Part of the reason I started writing romance was the impression of glamour I had about romance writers,” says Susan Schonberg. "I can still see that photo of Barbara Cartland," she says, "long, white glittering dress; huge topaz and diamond jewellery; elegant high-heeled mules (the Pekinese did nothing for me). I thought every romance writer must live like that. I know better now, of course, " she continues. "But it hasn't stopped me from pursuing my dream of being a romance author.”
