Ron Base

Ron Base is a former newspaper journalist and magazine writer. For most of a decade he wrote about movies for The Toronto Star. He also wrote screenplays in Los Angeles and Europe. He is the author of the bestselling Sanibel Sunset Detective novels set along the west coast of Florida. He and his wife Kathy split their time between Milton, Ontario, and Fort Myers, Florida.
