Kim knew she wanted to be a writer even before she was able to write. After countless short stories, essays sold to high school classmates, and novel ideas that went nowhere, she read LaVyrle Spencer's Morning Glory. She knew then that nothing could be more rewarding than being a writer of romance novels. It took several years and three completed manuscripts before she made that first sale, but she knew she was right! When she's not writing, Kim spends her time working two different part-time jobs and insists (despite consistently disastrous results) on sewing dresses for her toddler daughter. She enjoys reading, spending time with her family, raising butterflies, and still playing what-I-want-to-be-when-I-grow-up—careers she now gives to her heroines. She, her family, and their Pomeranian named Hiccups, live in West Texas.
