John Chaplick

John is a retired CPA and a graduate of Wesleyan University (BA) and the University of Michigan (MBA).Both of John Chaplick's novels, December of the Dark Sun and A Dragon at the Gates, are structured to engage the reader in a unique plot that takes place in an unusual setting involving out-of-the-ordinary characters. A Dragon at the Gates takes the reader to a remote island off the coast of Greece, where a Greek inventor, with the help of an American FBI agent, attempts to perfect his revolutionary undersea oil detection device and protect it from Russian and Chinese invaders.This story, although a work of fiction, reveals much about the economic drama currently involving Russia, China, the United States, and Greece. The plot is designed to hold the reader in suspense throughout, as forces from each of these countries collide in a unique geographic environment.
