Jack Parlett is a freelance writer, editor and doctoral researcher in the Faculty of English, University of Cambridge. He took a First Class Honours degree and a Master of Philosophy with Distinction, also at Cambridge. His research focuses upon the politics of twentieth century American poetry - in particular the work of Walt Whitman and Frank O'Hara - and he has written reviews of contemporary fiction and non-fiction for several publications including The Inkling and the Cambridge Humanities Review, as well as his own book, How to Brexit. He is based in London and also works in cultural events production.
