Frieda Wishinsky

Frieda Wishinsky has written over forty books for children of all ages (although she claims to have lost count!). Her very first title, Oonga Boonga, has recently been reissued by Scholastic, and her other titles have garnered numerous awards and nominations (definitely too many to count!). Her 2008 non-fiction title Everything But the Kitchen Sink was named a Silver Birch Honour Book and was nominated for a Red Cedar award as well.
