ALAN REDPATH (1907-1989) became a chartered accountant whose consuming passion was to play rugby. Even after he gave his life to Christ, he was still drawn to the world. He was tormented by the words "Saved soul-wasted life" until he cried out to the Lord, "Please, come in and take over my life and be King of my heart!" In 1936 Alan became an evangelist, and spent the next three decades in the pastorate, ministering in the Duke Street Baptist church in Richmond, Surrey, UK; Moody Church, Chicago, and Charlotte Chapel, Edinburgh, Scotland. He also taught at Capenwray Bible College, Lancashire, UK. He spoke around the world in an itinerant conference and missionary ministry.
