Ahron Friedberg

Ahron Friedberg, M.D., is a psychiatrist practicing in New York City, and a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He is the author, with Sandra Sherman, of five books, including Towards Happiness, Through a Screen Darkly (which won the 2021 Gradiva Award), and Faces of Love. He is a published poet, and studied poetry with Marie Ponsot (1921 - 2019), the famous poet, critic, teacher, and translator, who was the doyenne of a generation of modern poets.
