I love it when an author brings a unique perspective to the romance genre, to move beyond the limit of what has usually been done and the accepted standard. This is a no holds barred profanity, down and dirty sex fest of rock and roll baby. As Letty Dillenger herself tells you at the beginning she came out of her momma’s womb center stage and stormed the world. All she’s ever wanted to be is a rock star. She is 100% comfortable with her sexuality and has stuck with her dreams of what and where she wants her music to be. She’s just waiting for that one big break even if it means living a hand-to-mouth existence until that time comes. She will not sell out her dreams. Letty’s journey take her on a one night stand with a sexy guy she calls Shades but when the night is over she walks away as she has no time for any strings that could some with it.. But when her manager tells her that her all girl rock back Cherry Buzz Float is going on tour with the all male band Killer Dixon her immediate feelings of YES this is the break we’ve been looking for crash and burn when she meets the new lead singer of the band, Todd “Shades” Armstrong. This book is off the charts funny, probably at the top of my list of funny romances! The words Kendall Grey uses for lady parts, man parts and the act itself is unbelievably funny and sometimes just plain gross. Under all of that funny smut is a romance, I can't call it cute or sweet as those words do nothing for these characters. Letty is waiting to make it big in the rock world with her chick band, she is 25 and still waiting. She is celebrating her birthday alone in the bar when Shades comes along to interrupt her solo party. They trade quips and a LOT more before the next morning. After sneaking out on Shades, Letty doesn't expect to ever see him again. That is until they are thrown on tour together, and he acts like he doesn't even know her. Oh what a tour it is with these two, two other band mates on both sides and TONS of sexual tension. Just the first sex scene alone shows you what kind of a ride you are in for with this book. Like I said, it isn't for the faint of heart, lucky for me I am into low brow humor. Witty, hilarious, sexy read!

Kendall EFFING Grey is a goddess in the world of romance, rock star love stories. The writing here is not just good, it's incredible. The sex is rampant and decidedly non-romance fare (yet it's actually romantic!) and the morals were shredded like toilet paper and flung out the windows of the tour bus as it flew down the freeway at 90 mph. There's no going back for that s*** now! Ladies and gentlemen, this series is not like anything you've ever read and ATTENTION MUST BE PAID! This book has love, sex, self-loathing, sex, friendship and arguments and sex, kinky sex, a lot of drinking, sex, some drugs and sex, and some fighting and makeup sex, but mostly, there's music and sex. There are also some thoughts in here, some truths, but I'll leave you to sort those out for yourself. There is not enough room here to really rhapsodize, but trust me here. Read this book. In fact, read this series.
