About the author

John D. H. Greenway loves helping people find their purpose, clarify their priorities and fulfil their potential. He has over 25 years' experience of working with business leaders to build winning teams. He distilled his insights into his first book "Leaders' Map". He also co-compiled "Best Advice: 40 leadership tips from 40 leaders" for Mercuri Urval, the global talent management consultancy. After graduating from Nottingham and Durham Universities he has led business divisions, directed global accounts, sat on boards, worked with aid organisations in Africa, the Middle East and Asia and coached sports teams. He is now Founder & Director of the Management Consultancy, Saltmine Ventures.

Andy Blacknell's passion is in helping leaders and organisations engage people fully in their work or in their community. Following graduation from Oxford University he began his career as an economist, co- authoring books on the European Union and the Management Challenge in the 1990’s. He then worked in communications with a major UK retailer, Woolworths, and saw first-hand how difficult it is to change an organisation. He has advised on global mergers, employee engagement and employer brand whilst leading the Change & Communications Practice at Towers Watson in both the USA and UK. He currently runs his own consulting business, Blacknell Ventures.

Andy Coombe, according to his co-authors, is a brilliant facilitator. He thrives in sparking individuals and groups to think, talk and act to bring life, vitality and success to work. He is a graduate of theology and philosophy from Southampton University, and organisational change from Bristol University. He has extensive operational and change advisory experience in the UK Health Sector, working with boards as both an HR director of an acute hospital trust and leading an NHS service and organisation change agency. Andy now leads Kairos Consultancy which focuses on leadership and organisational development. He is also engaged in executive coaching, mediation and large event facilitation.
