I'm blown away with this series. Diane Love is an outstanding author. The story and the characters are gripping. The creative writing used to describe the scenes and the different realms and worlds is just amazing. You want to immerse yourself in them they are so realistic. I also loved how the author blended the other characters love interest into the story and not just the two main characters. However I've only given 4 stars because there was one very annoying aspect in this book or series. Way too much time was wasted on each person's thoughts and fears. And the constant repetition of character backgrounds ad nauseam. It is so difficult to be dragged in by a book yet at the same time be frustrated by it. With all of this said the author and this series will still be one of the best I've read.
