Finally Fell: An Over Forty Opposites Attract Workplace Small Town Romance

I absolutely loved Finally Fell by Elena Aitken; it is an incredible love at first sight love story. It is the third book in her Finally series. I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Elena Aitken showed that she is an amazing storyteller and has once again provided her readers with amazing characters. I love all the characters in Finally Fell, they feel like family! Finally Fell is an incredible love story, which filled me with a rollercoaster of emotions, and I could not put it down, and I loved every moment on every page. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong females, and friends, who always support one another? I love how Elena Aitken always manages to create the "perfect" heroine, who is a strong, sassy woman on her own, to balance out the sexy, swoon worthy man. I really enjoy how the book is told in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing out loud. My favorite moments are the ones that pull at my heartstrings that cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments. Finally Fell is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments, and with so much emotion. It is filled with all those things that I have come to love and expect in a love story, Elena Aitken did not disappoint, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. My favorite part is how the title of the book is incorporated into the love story with a simple statement by Brittany at the end of the story. Finally Fell is about Trent Thomas, owner of Thomas Developments and Brittany Donahue, CFO at MultiTech Software. Brittany and Trent meet because his friend Shane is allowing him his use office space in the MultiTech Software building. Brittany and her friends encourage each other with their new motto “go for it.” It is now Brittany’s turn to “go for it.” She literally runs into Trent in the lobby of the building and spills her latte over herself and the papers she is carrying. Brittany decides that Trent is the one and things quickly heat up between them. As Brittany spends more time with Trent, things change between them. I love how Trent and Brittany opens up to one another in the emotionally charged dialogue that transpires between the two of them, and how they share secrets with one another that they have not shared with anyone before. Neither Brittany nor Trent has ideal childhoods, and each must overcome these disappointments of their childhoods to discover love. It was heartbreaking when Trent admitted that that he lost his ability to open up and be listened to once his grandparents died. I love Trent’s relationship with Flo and Roger, and how his conversation with them helps him realize his true feelings for Brittany. My favorite part is the epilogue and how it goes above and beyond the happily ever after. I love the surprise that she has for her friends when they meet for lunch. I love all the things to Trent does for Brittany to help her dreams come true. I love Brittany’s relationship with her friends and how they always have one another’s backs and support one another. I love all the changes that Brittany agrees to so that she can have a life with Trent. I love the characters in Finally Fell, the characters feel like family best friends. I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I thoroughly enjoyed Finally Fell, who does not love a love at first sight love story? I love that Elena Aitken hints at the identities of the final two heroes in the series. Highly recommend this incredible love story.

The two found they were explosive together, even when neither one believed or wanted a relationship. It is a very emotional, steamy story that will bring tears as well as laughter to the reader, plus engaging mature adults finding their way with a very demanding cat! Great addition to the series but can be read as a standalone book, too.
