Mistletoe Hearts: A Fake Fiancé Holiday Romance (Book 2) by Nana Malone. This is Alex and Justin's story. This was a fun read, Love the friends to lovers reads. They first met when Justin rescued Alex one night when she caught her boyfriend cheating. From the first time they kissed to make her boyfriend jealous, the attraction was there but Justin knew what type of man he was. So after that night he never touched her. Alex became his best friend but both wanted to be more. Justin lied to his sick grandmother about having a girlfriend now she wants to meet her for the holidays. Alex to his rescue now. Both hearts at risk. Will love win over best friend status finally.

This was a great short story from Nana with steam and most importantly, the HEA! Justin and Alex met under unusual circumstances but became best friends for several years. Both were madly in love with the other but they’d always been bff’s so to change that would risk losing each other and they wouldn’t do it. And then Grandma gets sick and Justin has to take his ‘girlfriend’ with him to see her, which coincides with the holidays. The rest is history but you’ll need to read it to find out how!

Nana Malone does not dissapoint with this quick read holiday novella. I loved the chemistry between the characters in this friends to lovers tale about two people who care more for each other than themselves and are afraid tonrisk their friendship. When Justin needs a fake girlfriend and he asked Alex to step in. At first, Alex was hesitant despite her feelings for him but she eventually agrees and that’s when things started changing between them. Alex and Justin were amazing together and I enjoyed how their friendship started changing and how they were FINALLY able to confess their feelings for each other and get to the HEA they deserved.
