Houlgate is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Warwick. He is the

He has been teaching Hegel's Logic for over 30 years and is the author of several works on Hegel including An Introduction to Hegel's Philosophy: Freedom, Truth and History, 2nd Ed. (Blackwell, 2005) and The Opening of Hegel's Logic (Purdue UP, 2006). He has served as the President of the Hegel Society of Great Britain since 2011.
