It’s not hard to imagine a cameo with Kevin Costner in this story. The environment is described extremely well. Water is pretty much everywhere. There is a profound chemistry between Char and Hoss. Hoss and Char just work as a romantic pair. Hoss is very swoon-worthy, incidentally. There is not a lot of filler in the story but what is there takes one on ride. A runaway train-type ride. It’s a good tale to entertain a reader for about an hour. It moves that fast.

Decent, but not great. Could have been better minus all the abuse. If you want a story with loveable Alpha's, then try reading Charmaine Ross.

V.T.'s new series is taking us back to our raw and gritty Omegaverse roots. Where Alphas are all powerful and take what they want. Omegas are possessions, good for one thing...an alpha's knot. In this series opener, we are introduced to a new, and awesome I might add, dystopian water world. A brutal alpha, "The Tanker" comes for Char and she will learn who is in charge. I loved this new world, and the dark raw things that happen in the bowels of the ships. I can't wait for the next book.
