About this ebook

Bridget Jones is mad about the boy – the gloriously funny and heartwarming million-copy bestseller, soon to be a major film starring Renée Zellweger.

‘In an emergency, I turn to Bridget Jones’ DOLLY ALDERTON

What do you do when a girlfriend’s 60th birthday party is the same day as your boyfriend’s 30th?

Is it morally wrong to have a blow-dry when one of your children has head lice?

Is sleeping with someone after 2 dates and 6 weeks of texting the same as getting married after 2 meetings and 6 months of letter writing in Jane Austen’s day?

Pondering these, and other dilemmas, BRIDGET JONES stumbles through the challenges of single motherhood, online dating, and achieving ‘acceptance and calm’ in what SOME people rudely call ‘middle age’.

I had high hopes for the third installment in the life of Bridget Jones, having loved the first two books. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. The writing is fragmented and jumbled. Diary or not, there is no real flow to the story. If I could go back and make the choice again, I most certainly would not waste my money, nor my time.

A fabulous read which I bought when it was on offer, having decided it wasn't worth paying full price for. What a silly mistake, as I could have had the pleasure of reading this wonderfully touching and funny book a few weeks ago. If I could send Ms Fielding the extra money, I would, as it would be worth every penny. I laughed out loud many times and it was a great pleasure to reconnect with the, oh so special, Bridget Jones. My Christmas treat to myself which was a joy *blushes*. Highly recommend.

It took a while for me to get into this (maybe because I didn't want it to be true, that's all I'm saying) however before I knew it I was hooked and readind every page as fast as possible, cringing and laughing. If you love this series you HAVE to read it :)
