It was a good book to read, definitely had a good storyline and the twist was definitely, most surprising! It was a good psychological thriller but for me the 'girl on the train' and 'behind closed doors' were more which really kept you on the edge of your seat and there was more of mystery embedded. The silent patient at times seemed more of a crime and drama with a lot of 'detective work' in place while the main character being a psychotherapist. Overall it is a really good book to read and you should just give it a try and make your own conclusions.

The book had me very excited and suspenseful throughout my read. Gotta say the author did a fine job at keeping the story thrilling and exciting. Was I disappointed with the ending? Yes I was, but not in a million years would I have thought that THAT would be the real culprit. This story is layered and I understand some concern by other fellow readers for saying that it was a bit hard for them to grasp some of the things. But when things were revealed it was such an astonishing reveal I actually had to go back and contemplate the things I read. Fantastic book. Loved it

Unrelatable characters, scant details to a threadbare plot. Utterly fantastic twist. So, all in all, kind of an odd one. Overall I didn't enjoy the book, the pacing felt off and the characters undercooked. But damn. That twist though. 2 stars.
