it was a good book. I liked Kade. but Larkyn got on my nerves.... she told him to be a jerk to her so she wouldn't fall in love... but then would get mad when he was a jerk. also the whole plot with Nathan just didn't belong in the book and the parts that did have him were so rushed.... the last 20 pages were the whole resolve... and it was super rushed. We also never found out why her family is so awful to her for no reason... just cause she's adopted? I just didn't get it.... so many rushed plots, and unanswered questions.

Truthfully, I'm not a big fan of fake marriage romances. There are so many of them and you can only tell the same story so many ways. But then I found out Ella Miles wrote one and since she is one of my one-click authors, I wanted to give this one the benefit of the doubt. I'm glad I did. She's introduced us to Kade and Larkyn who take us on a whirlwind of angst, emotion, drama, and chemistry. There were parts that were fun and made me chuckle and then there were parts I want to knock both their heads together just so there might be a semblance of common sense fall out. It was a good read and one I'm glad I picked up.

Yet another great book from this author. This one had all the romance, even if they both tried to fake it and a great story as well. I really like this author and will be reading more of her books in the future.
