I have loved all of his previous books but this is such a disappointment. It is like a Harlan Coben or James Patterson version of a Michael Robotham book. I had to check numerous times that this was a Robotham book as the plot, language and characters lacked depth and substance. I actually contemplated not finishing it as it had so many unrealistic aspects to it it was embarassing.

Well told. I was worried at the start that it was a YA book, but the story and characters showed a mature approach. Very exciting.
