December’s Ride with Scar is Book 12 of the Mustang Mountain Riders series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, mail order bride, curvy girl gets her mountain man Christmas romance. Scar is a hunky ex-military man and a member of the Mustang Mountain Riders MC. Evelyn is a 32 year old curvy girl who signed up for a mail-order service. When Scar's friends secretly sign him up, he's matched with Evelyn. He is upset until he sees her picture and is all in. She feels the same. This was such a sweet and steamy store. I loved this couple and am glad they were able to resolve their issues. They had great chemistry, and the ending was so happy. I can't wait for Shane's story next!. December's Ride with Scar is book 12 in the Mustang Mountain Riders series by Kaci Rose. Scar's "battle wary"and getting jealous of seeing all his friends fall in love and settle down with good women. So, they take him at his word and set him up with a mail-order-bride who arrives minutes after he's told of what his friends did for him. But instead of being angry, after one look at Evelyn's photos, he knows she's the woman meant for him. He knows he should tell her it was his friends who created his account and set it up for her to arrive, but he doesn't want to make her feel unwanted. Evelyn arrives at the bus stop with two small suitcases in hand, eager for a fresh start after her parents died leaving her a mountain of debt, causing her to lose her home. When she sees Scar, she knows things are going to change, but she's afraid to hope the good luck will last. Together, Scar and Evelyn learn they have to trust their hearts if they want to move forward as a couple.

Scar is the (almost) last man standing, and his well-meaning pals decide to set up a mail-order bride for him. Evelyn is in debt and has to resort to desperate measures, and although the attraction between the two is undeniable, they need to navigate through their past and what they want for their future. I thought this story was really sweet and the chemistry was just amazing. The characters were also so likeable. This might be my favorite from the series.
