I thought it would have more active things in it, like making water rockets, or basic concepts for rigging and other rope work. I do understand why it didn't mention, let alone give instructions for a carbide cannon. Launching a flaming tennis ball hundreds of feet may look spectacular, but it's a quick way to lose a finger, an eyeball and ones freedom (arson, or worse).

This book should be issued to every school and library in Great Britain. Page after page of pure childhood. The memories so thick and fast you'll be brushing them from your face. I wish it was pocket size.
