I enjoyed learning about the many inventions that I take for granted today that Clearance Birdseye was either responsible for creating or was a significant contributing factor.

Kurlansky's bio rambles around related topics as he traces the life of Clarence Birdseye. Swift read. Nothing really memorable about the book though.
