About this ebook

A 25th anniversary edition of the number one, multi-million copy international bestseller that taught us how emotional intelligence is more important than IQ - 'a revolutionary, paradigm-shattering idea' (Harvard Business Review)

Featuring a new introduction from the author

Does IQ define our destiny? In his groundbreaking bestseller, Daniel Goleman argues that our view of human intelligence is far too narrow. It is not our IQ, but our emotional intelligence that plays a major role in thought, decision-making and individual success. Self-awareness, impulse control, persistence, motivation, empathy and social deftness: all are qualities that mark people who excel, whose relationships flourish, who can navigate difficult conversations, who become stars in the workplace.

With new insights into the brain architecture underlying emotion and rationality, Goleman shows precisely how emotional intelligence can be nurtured and strengthened in all of us.

one thing I didn't liked is..author is just trying to make us feel what he feels... every one is different but some how he was right , maybe it's dark but..it kept going..starting of the novel was booring..and I didn't found really much connecting to the later stuffs ...but yeah it created a mindset .. English words are really tough to understand .so better to read on kindle , Instant dictionary. Or keep phone beside u and keep asking ur assistant about the meaning , worst thing is I l purchased this book ... In RS 399 ..not worth this much .but go for it on play store

First I tried to read the book in Paper Format But the Font size of the book was so so small that I was unable to read the book even when I read two or Four Pages there was a headache and pain in my eyes. if he is a good Psychologist he should be understood the fact that the font size of the book is great factor that readers will like the book or not.

Good stuff, learnt a lot. The downside is that the language isn't simple and reading can kind of feel like walking through deep mud sometimes
